Teamcenter Share, the new design-centric project collaboration tool from Siemens, is now available. Compatible with a wide range of common CAD formats — not just NX® and Solid Edge®, but also Solidworks, Inventor, Catia, and more — Share allows users to synchronize files as they work, making collaboration faster and easier than ever before.
With Teamcenter Share users can access their CAD data from anywhere, on any device. The browser-based application makes it easy to view, measure and mark up models in a three-dimensional space and Share’s augmented reality (AR) functionalities allow users to see their products in a real-world environment. This and much more makes Share an ideal solution to accelerate the decision-making process, by improving communication with colleagues, customers and suppliers.

Take Share’s powerful, browser-based functionalities to the next level with integration with Solid Edge 2021. Share and Solid Edge work seamlessly together to enable efficient team collaboration wherever you’re located, directly from within the Solid Edge CAD environment.
Share’s integration with Solid Edge on your desktop allows you to access your shared project data, without leaving Solid Edge. Share also enables faster previews of Solid Edge parts and assemblies without the need to fully load the data. Users can even interrogate the previews and perform tasks such as taking measurements without the need of opening the design data with Solid Edge.
The collaboration window in Solid Edge makes it easy to review and respond to feedback, seamlessly. In addition, Share also works with Solid Edge’s data management tools, including check-in/check-out functionalities.
The power of the cloud is even further on display when Solid Edge and Share’s AR functionality are used together for real-time virtual prototyping. As design data is manipulated in Solid Edge, you can preview your product in the real-world with the Share application on your mobile device.
